Welcome to North House Surgery

We here at North House Surgery pride ourselves on the holistic and caring service that we are able to provide for our local community.

The doctors work in a partnership caring for over 13500 patients. We currently have 5 Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 3 Nurses and 3 Healthcare Assistants. We also have a dedicated team of administrative staff.

We are proud to be a training practice for both GP Registrars and Medical Students from Newcastle University.

Within the practice you will be able to access physiotherapy, contraception services, minor surgery and several clinics including heart disease, smoking cessation, asthma and  diabetes. We also provide travel & childhood immunisations

As well as a useful source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use this website as a resource for other health-related problems.

Please have a look around and feel free to send us your feedback. We are keen to use your ideas to further develop our online services.

Did you know you can use the Minor Aliment Scheme offered in local pharmacies. Under the Scheme, if you are eligible for free NHS prescriptions, then you can access a range of medications free of charge without seeing a Doctor
