Our records show that you are eligible for a shingles vaccine which helps protect you against shingles and can reduce the risk of long-term nerve pain if you do develop shingles. You require Part 1 and Part 2 doses at separate intervals.

The vaccine is given as an injection into your upper arm. Common side effects include a sore arm, redness or swelling where the injection is given, headache, tiredness, muscle aches, or a mild fever. Serious allergic reactions are very rare.
